I know many of us are happy to leave 2020 behind. I love the start of a new year as they feel like a fresh start. 2021 has started off with some really great skincare products for me. I have tested out some new products and loved them. I specifically tried some new products from Uriage and this is my first experience with the brand. Check out my favourites below to see what I loved from the brand along with a few others
Uriage Water Sleeping Mask – When the Uriage Sleep Mask launched I was so excited. It reminds me a lot of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night and the Avene Hydrance Aqua Gel, two of my favourite products, so I couldn’t wait to try it. This one is definitely the lightest in texture out of the three. It is a little bit more affordable then the other two and definitely a great alternative. While I don’t find it to be quite as hydrating as the other two, it does leave my skin feeling really soft and refreshed. I love layering it overtop of my retinol or any kind of active treatment that can leave me feeling a bit dry as it does provide a boost of moisture. I think this will be a staple in my summer skincare routine when I want something light, but really hydrating.
A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream – This night cream has been amazing for my skin. I have am almost finished the bottle and I have a back up ready to go. It is a retinol based product (containing retinaldehyde) that is designed to prevent the first visible signs of aging. It makes my skin feel really smooth and radiant, but the biggest changes have been with my acne. I have been struggling with acne from wearing a mask (you all probably know by now) and have been also dealing with acne scarring. This product has been amazing for helping to treat my acne and acne scarring. I still have occasional breakouts, but they are much less severe and heal very quickly. My acne scarring has really improved. I have had people comment on how much more even my skin has gotten since I have been using this product. I can’t recommend it enough if you are looking to try a retinol product.
Smashbox Cover Shot Palette Matte – This eye shadow palette has been in my collection for a while, but was something I have recently started using again over the last couple of months. This is the perfect matte neutral palette and retails for only $35. It comes with 8 neutral matte shadows and the two softer base shades that are used most often come in a larger pan size. I love this palette because it is super pigmented, the shades blend out really easily and it has everything you need to create a one eye look. It is also super compact, so if you need to take it on the go it is small and has everything you need in one palette.
Uriage Cica-Lips Protecting Balm – Lip balm is an essential for me in the winter, but I tend to have a hard time with lip products. They often cause more irritation and end up making matters worse. This lip treatment from Uriage is a game changer. It comes out like a rich gel – kind of similar to Vaseline. It helps to soothe irritation and leave my lips really hydrated. I also find the formula is really long lasting and I don’t need to reapply often. It is really gentle, effective and doesn’t cause further irritation.
Neostrata Intensive Eye Therapy – This eye cream is marketed as one that is really good for firming and tightening the eye area, but it also has really great anti-wrinkle benefits. I am using it specifically to get the anti-wrinkle benefits as I am finding I am starting to notice fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. While I haven’t been using it long enough to speak the results personally, Neostrata has some really amazing studies and clinical results for this product. You can find them here on their website. The reason why I have made it a favourite this month is the texture. This product is almost like a primer texture that really helps to blur and smooth the eye area. It makes a great base for makeup and I love the way it makes my skin look and feel.
Those are some of my favourite new products I have been using in January. Have you tried anything new over the last few months? Let me know in a comment below!
One of my beauty resolutions is to test out more mascara. I have been using the Benefit Roller Lash and Buxom Volumizing Lash Mascaras for years. It is the perfect duo for me and why change something if it is working for you? Honest answer – I have a million unopened mascaras I need to use before buying anything new. When I first opened the Lise Watier Eye Opening Vegan Mascara (that is a tongue twister and from here on out we will be referring to it as the Vegan Mascara) I wasn’t so sure I would like it. The brush is very different from my two holy grail mascaras. Spoiler alert: I actually really love it!
Let’s continue talking about the brush. It is wider at the base and gets slimmer as you move to the tip of the brush. It is a straight wand with fibre bristles. What I love most about this wand is that it gets so slim at the tip. It makes the wand super precise and I can easily reach each little baby lash and the corners. The brush is firm and it really allows me to push my lashes up and create lots of lift. I love lots of lift in my lashes as it makes your eyes look more open, bright and awake. I get incredible lift with this mascara and that is what I love most about it.
The formula is creamy and light. It doesn’t seem overly wet and is almost fluffy. I like the texture of the formula a lot as it isn’t too heavy or weigh down my lashes throughout the day. I also find that because it is so light it doesn’t clump together as much. It can get a little clumpy if you go in super heavy with the application, but if you slowly apply and use the tip of the brush to spread the lashes I don’t have any issues with clumping.
I do find this product to have nice buildable volume if you work before the layers dry. I find it is best to apply one eye at a time. I do a few coats on one eye before moving to the other. If I try to jump back and forth to each eye the formula dries down too quickly and I don’t get a chance to build up as much volume. Once I found the right technique for application I really fell in love with how much volume I can get from this mascara.
This mascara, for me, is not the most lengthening. Overall, I find it really great for volume and lift. One trick to get a bit more length with is to spend some time applying just to the tips of the lashes once I have got the desired volume and lift I want. By focusing on the tips I can build out a bit more length. For me I have long lashes already, so it isn’t a deal breaker. Plus the amount of lift you get from the mascara really helps create the appearance of more length.
The mascara is very long wearing. I haven’t had any issues with it flaking or smudging throughout the day. It keeps my lashes lifted and curled all day long. Overall, I am super impressed with this mascara from Lise Watier. I haven’t tried many of their mascaras, but I am eager to try more after how great this one has been.
I am back with my second part of my series reflecting on my favourite products in 2020. Check out the first part of my series – Best of Skincare 2020. In this post I am sharing my favourite and most used makeup products. My makeup changed in 2020. For the second half of the year I have only been applying makeup to my face from the eyes up. With wearing a mask so much this year, and breaking out a lot, I didn’t wear makeup on the parts of my face the mask covered to protect my skin. With that in mind my makeup favourites won’t include a lot of products you generally apply to the lower parts of your face because I really wasn’t wearing it. Here is a list of my most used and loved makeup products of 2020.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Tinted Cream – This hands down was my most used base product for 2020. This year I stepped away from more full coverage products and really fell in love with tinted moisturizers and light weight products. This product combines the gentle hydrating care of Toleriane Sensitive with correction and coverage of makeup. It is a light coverage product that doesn’t feel like anything on the skin. If you are someone with dry skin, or don’t like the feeling of makeup on the skin I think you would really enjoy this product. I like it because it provides the gentle skincare benefits La Roche Posay is known for with a beautiful tint for natural coverage.
Dermablend Cover Care Full Coverage Concealer – The coverage on this concealer is incredible – a little goes a long way. In addition to the incredible coverage, it also doesn’t crease or transfer. This is the first concealer I have ever had that I don’t have to set with a powder. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and the creamy formula really melts into the skin. I find it blends best with your fingers in a patting motion as it builds the most coverage. The applicator is also a larger sized doe foot applicator, which is great for quick and easy application. While wearing a mask all day I have been skipping foundation and just using this concealer under the eyes and on my forehead. If I do choose to wear makeup under my mask, I feel really good about using this concealer because it is non-comedogenic and I don’t have to worry about it breaking me out. Plus it doesn’t transfer or spread to my mask. If you are looking for something super full coverage, that doesn’t crease or budge, and is long wearing check this concealer out.
Dermablend Illuminating Banana Loose Setting Powder – The Dermablend loose setting powders are my favourite powders on the market. I love both the translucent and banana version, but the banana shade is definitely my most used. The powders and so fine and they blend into the skin flawlessly without looking heavy or powdery. The banana shade is my favourite because of the brightening and illuminating properties it has. It really brightens under the eyes and sets your foundation and concealer in place so it lasts all day.
Covergirl Clean Fresh Healthy Look Translucent Powder – This is an amazing affordable powder from the drugstore. It is great for setting your makeup and really blurring and smoothing the skin. It does a great job at blurring texture on the skin and it really helps my makeup last longer. It also doesn’t look too heavy or matte on the skin. I like using the translucent as I don’t need more coverage, I am just looking to set my makeup in place. A great option if you are looking for an affordable powder that is available at the drugstore.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer – This is a classic that everyone has probably tried. This is also the bronzer that never dies. I have had this for what feels like forever and it still feels full. I like both the Hoola Lite and the original version. I am pretty fair and sometimes the original Hoola can be a little bit too dark for me in the winter, so I opt for the Lite. I also really like the Lite shade for contouring my nose as it is softer and a little bit of a cooler shade. Both versions are a beautiful matte bronzer. It is really easy to blend and they are really flattering shades.
Marcelle Velvety Blush – I didn’t wear a lot of blush during this past year thanks to masks, but when I did this was my go to. I think it was literally the only blush I wore in 2020. Marcelle is such an underrated drugstore brand. Their blushes are one of my favourite formulas. They are a super soft texture and really easy to blend. They offer buildable coverage, so you can get a soft wash of colour or a bold flush. The shade I have been loving is Dust. It is just a really nice soft pink that is really neutral and goes well with any look.
Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray – Setting spray has been something I have always loved. I feel like it completes a look and really blends all your products together to give it a more natural and skin like finish. Not all setting sprays are made equal and this one from Urban Decay is one of the best. It has a really fine mist that doesn’t dispense too heavily or disrupt your makeup. It is also great for making your makeup last all day. In 2020, wearing a mask all day really caused me to rely on setting spray to lock in my makeup. Although I didn’t wear makeup under my mask often, this setting spray really helped to keep my makeup from transferring onto my mask, or from rubbing off. If you have trouble keeping your makeup on all day I recommend checking out a setting spray.
Dermablend Power-Setter Makeup Setting Spray – This setting spray was a new discovery for me in 2020 and it is also amazing. It is super comparable to the Urban Decay setting spray, but a tiny bit lower in price. It is great for refreshing throughout the day and increasing the look and longevity of your makeup. It keeps your makeup from transferring, or wearing off. I find the mist on this setting spray not to be as fine as the Urban Decay, but it does not disrupt your makeup or change the application or final results. Dermablend is also amazing for anyone with sensitive skin. All of their products are tested on many skin types and sensitivities. It is a great option for anyone who is super sensitive and reactive. If you are looking for something a little bit cheaper then the Urban Decay spray this one is a great option.
Lise Watier Dramatique Gel Liner – This is the world’s best eyeliner – yes I said it. I don’t know why everyone is sleeping on Lise Watier Eyeliners because they are fantastic. The Dramatique Gel Liners are my favourite because they are so creamy and glide on the eye very easily due to their gel formula, but once they set they do not budge. They are transfer proof, waterproof as well as heat and humidity resistant. They have really intense colour pay off and are retractable. My go to colour is the shade Cappuccino – I wear it daily. Navy is also another favourite for a little pop of colour. These are just simply the best eye liners and I think everyone needs to try them.
Vasanti Kajal Waterline Eye Pencil – This product has been a favourite for many years, but I think this is it’s first appearance on the blog. It is an eyeliner pencil designed to go in the waterline of your eye. It is really hard to find a pencil that is long wearing and lasts within the wet rim of your eyes. This pencil lasts all day, it glides on super easily and doesn’t transfer between the top and bottom rim. I like just wearing it along my upper tightline, but don’t put it along the bottom as I find it makes my eyes look smaller when applied to both. This is the first pencil I have found that does not transfer from the top to the bottom. It does a really great job at making the lashes look fuller and defining the eye. On days when I am not wearing a lot of makeup I still apply this pencil to my tightline as it really helps to make the lashes look bigger, fuller and just slightly enhances the eyes. Vasanti is a Canadian and cruelty free brand.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – This mascara has been around forever and has been a favourite of mine for years. I love it so much I rarely try other mascaras. The brush is a small curved plastic wand. It does a great job at hooking and lifting all your lashes. I like it because it really helps to lift and keep my lashes curled throughout the day. The small brush allows me to get in between the lashes and separate them. If you are someone who likes a really lifted and separated lash look, or has trouble keeping your lashes curled throughout the day I definitely recommend testing out this mascara.
Buxom Lash Volumizing Mascara – I am a little bit extra when it comes to mascara and I like to layer more then one mascara together. After using Roller Lash to get good separation and curl I go in with this mascara to get even more separation and build length. This brush is so good for that. It has a lot of really short bristles, so it doesn’t hold a lot of product. This prevents it from adding too much volume at once and gives you more control in building volume. It is the perfect companion for Roller Lash as combined they give me so much lift, separation and length.
Those were some of my favourite and most used makeup products of 2020. Let me know some of your favourites in a comment below!
Check out my favourite products from previous years:
As 2020 comes to an end I have decided to do a wrap up of my favourite and most used products of 2020. The first part of the wrap up is my favourite skincare products of 2020. In the second part of my wrap up I will share my favourite makeup products of 2020. Stay tuned for that post coming soon!
This past year took me into a whole new world of skincare because my skin’s needs changed entirely. I went from pretty normal skin that was combination – dry on my forehead and cheeks and more oily on my nose and chin, to sensitive and acne prone. As someone who has never really had problem skin this was a huge struggle. I have a new appreciation for anyone with acne prone skin and what you battle on a daily basis. Through this process I have discovered some new products that have worked really well at battling my acne and the sensitivities I was experiencing. Even if you don’t suffer from acne or a lot of sensitivity there are some really great products I discovered that could work well no matter your skin type. Here is a look at some of the products that my skin really loved this year.
Neostrata Glycolic Mousse Cleanser – I feel like everyone has tried this cleanser and I was definitely late to the game. For the first half of 2020, this was my go to cleanser. This is a great cleanser for anyone with normal, combination or oily skin. If you are on the drier side it might be a little bit too much for everyday – I would recommend their PHA Cleanser instead. The glycolic acid provides a gentle exfoliation and the light mousse texture is very refreshing. I find this product is super great for treating blackheads and congestion on the skin. If you are looking for a cleanser with some gentle exfoliation that is safe for daily use I recommend checking this one out.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Gel Cleanser – When my acne started to flare up, and my skin became much more sensitive and problematic, I switched to this gel cleanser from La Roche Posay. What attracted me to this cleanser versus other acne cleansers is that the active ingredient is zinc PCA. Zinc PCA is great for killing acne causing bacteria, so it will get rid of existing acne and prevent new acne from occurring. Zinc PCA is also good for controlling oil production on the skin and is a humectant. This means, unlike other acne treatments, it will not strip the skin of the natural oils or dry out the skin. The zinc PCA makes it great for anyone who has a drier skin type because it helps treat the acne and hydrate the skin. This has really helped my acne a lot. I have kept it in my routine even as my acne has disappeared and I love it. It has helped to keep my acne at a manageable state. If you are really sensitive to other acne treatments, or are a drier skin type and suffer from acne, I highly recommend testing this cleanser out.
Vichy Mineral 89 Eye Care – I went through two bottles of this eye cream in 2020 and will definitely repurchase this after I finish up some other eye creams in my stash. The texture on this eye cream is a really nice light gel cream that leaves behind a nice cooling sensation. The cooling sensation feels so nice on tired eyes and helps to depuff the eye contour. It is an amazing base for makeup. My eyeshadow and concealer apply so nicely overtop. The thing I love most about this eye cream is how brightening it is. I really noticed a difference in how bright my under eye area was while using this eye cream. If you are looking for a really gentle, hydrating and brightening eye cream give this one a try.
Vichy Mineral 89 – I don’t even know if I need to give this product much of an explanation. If you have been following me you probably already know my love for this product. If I could shower my whole body in it I would. I have gone through more bottles of this then I can count. Mineral 89 is a skin booster containing hyaluronic acid and Vichy’s thermal water. This product helps to strengthen and protect the skin. It is a great boost of hydration for the skin. It is always the first step in my routine after cleansing and I apply it to my face eyes and lips. If you are looking for an extra boost of moisture, or to help strengthen your skin I can’t recommend Mineral 89 enough.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + – This was my holy grail acne treatment this year. This saved my skin and was the true superstar when it came to treating my acne breakouts and getting my skin back under control. It is one of the most gentle acne treatments I have ever used, but still so effective. Others I had tried during the year were so harsh and what contributed to the issues with sensitivity I was having. This product didn’t cause any feelings of sensitivity and with consistent use, and some patience, are really what got my acne under control. I am going to insert some photos below of my acne when it was the worst and my skin after adding Duo + into my routine. If you are someone who suffers from acne and finds a lot of treatments to be too harsh for your skin, or are just looking for a more gentle acne treatment I highly recommend trying this product out. When my acne was at its worst I used this product morning and night until I got it under control. Once my breakouts were becoming less severe I continued to use it in the morning to help prevent breakouts while wearing a mask all day.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive – This was definitely my most used cream of 2020. It is a lightweight texture that is fragrance free, alcohol free, balances the skin’s microbiome and safe for sensitive skin. I loved it because I could use it day or night and it is safe to layer with any products. It is super gentle and really helped to soothe my irritation. I went through two or three bottles this year and is something I would repurchase immediately. It is the perfect basic moisturizer and has a super reasonable price point. Pro tip: Not all of the product dispenses out at the very end. Cut off the top and remove what is left inside with your finger tips. I always get quite a few more applications out of the product by doing this.
Avene Aoxitive Night Peel – This is one of my all-time favourite retinol products. It helped my skin so much this year when it came to my acne scars. As the Effaclar Duo + started to clear my acne I was left behind was quite a bit of acne scarring. Although my breakouts were under control the marks left behind still made me feel pretty self conscious. Adding this retinol product to my routine made a world of difference. It made such a difference that other people were commenting on how great my skin looked – you know a product is really working when other people make note. I will be continuing to use this product in the future. Although I don’t need it as much now for treating acne scars I like that it made my skin smooth, radiant and it helps with early signs of aging. If you are looking to try a retinol product, or have issues with acne scarring I recommend trying this one out.
Neostrata Neck Cream – This was a rediscovered product for me in 2020. I have used this neck cream in the past and in 2020 I was reminded how much I love it. I have tried a few different neck creams, but this is truly my favourite because of the texture. Others I find can feel too heavy or oily and don’t absorb. Hours later I can still feel some creams on my neck area. This one has the most luxurious texture. It melts right into the skin and gives an instant tightening feeling. This product also really feels like it is doing something. The skin on my neck area is a lot smoother and there has been a decrease in the size and depth of the horizontal lines on my neck.
Avene Cicalfate + – This is a product I have known about for many years, but never truly appreciated until this year. I have always recommended it to people with cuts and scrapes or burns because of the soothing and healing properties, but it never occurred to me that it could become a staple in my skincare routine. This was another game changer when it came to healing my acne and healing irritation from harsh acne treatments and masks. It contains copper and zinc sulfate, which have purifying properties. These purifying properties allow it to effectively treat breakouts. I also like applying it on a blemish I may have picked as it speeds up the healing time.
I also love this product if my skin is dull, or looking for a boost. I apply a thin layer all over the face at night and it leaves my skin looking so healthy and renewed. It is also great to pair with a retinol or a more irritating active ingredient as it really helps to minimize any harsh side effects.
Avene Cicalfate Hand Cream – I have never been a big hand cream user. I find they are too greasy or slimy and I am honestly just too lazy to be consistent with applying one. This year I desperately needed to use hand cream. With all the hand sanitizer and hand washing my hands became really dry and irritated. With similar properties to the Cicalfate + the Cicalfate hand cream has been amazing for combatting the dryness and irritation. Within the first 24 hours of using it, and reapplying regularly, I noticed a huge improvement on my hands. I really like the texture of this product because it isn’t too greasy and absorbs quickly. I keep this product in my pocket at work and it has truly been a staple for 2020.
Vichy Mineral Tinted Sunscreen – With going out a lot less, and wearing a mask most of the time, I really stepped away from wearing foundation in 2020. As an alternative, I started to wear tinted sunscreen instead and this one from Vichy ended up being a favourite. It is a mineral sunscreen with an SPF 50 and a universal tint. It leaves a nice glow on the skin and is sweat and water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Although the coverage on this product is super light weight I love it. It just slightly blurs and neutralizes redness, but still lets your skin show through. It is just enough coverage to give me that extra boost of confidence to feel good about going makeup free.
La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Fluid Face Sunscreen – This is one of my all time favourite sunscreen products. I have been using it for years and in 2020 it got even better as they slightly reformulated it. The new formulation is anti-migration meaning it won’t move from the skin and transfer into the eyes. There were times in the past where I did get this in my eyes and let me just say it wasn’t pleasant. The reason why I love this product the most is that it truly is invisible on the skin. It disappears into the skin and feels like there is nothing left on the skin. It wears beautifully on its own or under makeup. It doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin. If you are looking for a great facial sunscreen I recommend giving this one a try.
Vichy Ideal Soleil Sport Sunscreen – This is has been my favourite body sunscreen for a few years, but I think this might be the first time it is appearing on the blog. This past summer I spent a lot time outdoors and I went through many bottles of this sunscreen. Most body sunscreens I do not like. I find them to feel sticky, greasy and they leave a residue on your skin and clothing. The Vichy Sport Sunscreen is everything I have ever wanted in a body sunscreen. It disappears into the skin without any trace of feeling sticky, greasy with no residue left behind. It is hydrating and leaves a bit of a cooling sensation on the skin. It is both sweat and water resistant and it can be applied to wet skin. The fact that is can be applied to wet skin is so convenient. I think people already dread reapplying as needed, especially when swimming, because of the hassle of having to dry off first. I still do towel off, but I don’t have to worry too much if my skin is a bit damp.
I also really love the texture of this on my face. I have been using it in the winter months on my face and it is also so beautiful. I love that it is hydrating and doesn’t feel too heavy. This is a great product if you are just looking to purchase one sunscreen you can use on face and body.
Neostrata Bionic Oxygen Recovery – When my skin was at its peak with acne and sensitivity this was such a great option for when I needed exfoliation. This mask combines PHA and bionic acid to gently exfoliate and deliver oxygen to the skin. Even after my sensitivity and acne has gone down I still love using this product. It is so gentle, soothing and leaves me skin feeling soft and radiant.
This mask is also very unique in the application. You massage a thick layer onto damp skin. It then starts to bubble and then disappears and you rinse it with cold water. I will warn you the bubbles tickle, A LOT. It’s not uncomfortable it is just unusual and definitely takes some time to get used to. If you are a sensitive skin type who can’t use a lot of harsh actives in your routine, or are already use some stronger actives and want an exfoliator that can be paired with anything definitely give this treatment a try.
Pixi DetoxifEYE Eye Patches – These eye patches were an essential part of many self care moments in 2020. I keep them in the fridge and they just feel so good. I find that they really soothe my eye area – especially when they are cold from the fridge. They really leave my eyes feeling hydrated and refreshed. When applying them be careful that they don’t stick together. On a few occasions I have accidentally applied two to one eye as they do easily stick together.
If you are still with me – thank you! That was quite a novel. I really loved reflecting on what products I really loved this year and it is making me want to do some shopping to replenish. What products did you love this year? I would love to hear in a comment below! Thanks again for reading and stay tuned for my 2020 makeup favourites.
Can you believe it is already November? Is anyone else starting to feel excited for Christmas? We had a little dusting of snow last week that really got me into the spirit. With a new month underway I am sharing some of my favourite products I used during October. Here is a look at some of my recent favourite products.
Avene Cicalfate Restorative Cream – This is a product I have always thought to use on other parts of the body, but never on my face until Romy from Ymor Beauty. (If you don’t follow Romy I highly recommend you check her out. She has a background in science and brings so much knowledge to her reviews. She is a great resource.) I have been using Cicalfate primarily when I have a blemish clearing up or to heal any irritation. It has amazing healing and restorative benefits . Plus the zinc sulfate is antibacterial and can help prevent acne causing bacteria from developing on the skin.
I also love using this product if my skin just needs a boost. If my skin is super dry and dull I apply this product at night. The next morning I wake up with the most glowing, soft and radiant skin.
Neostrata Bionic Oxygen Recovery – I have become a big fan of Neostrata products. If you follow my blog or instagram you will often see their products popping up in my content. This Bionic Oxygen Recovery Treatment is amazing. It is made up of polyhydroxy acids or PHAs, which the founders of Neostrata discovered – HOW COOL! PHAs provide exfoliation, strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier while being gentle and not irritating. They are so gentle they can even be used on post-procedure skin. PHAs are an amazing ingredient for anyone with sensitive skin who can not use strong actives.
Right now, I am unable to use many actives due to wearing a mask because my skin has become really sensitive. This has made treating acne a bit difficult. Adding this treatment into my routine 2-3 times a week has been a complete game changer for me. It combines two different PHAS, gluconolactone and lactobionic acid, to gently exfoliate the skin. The antioxidant and humectant properties help to repair and hydrate the skin.
To use this product you massage a thin layer onto damp skin. The product begins to bubble and disappears after 5 minutes. The bubbling action helps to deliver molecular oxygen to the skin to energize your skin cells.
The results I have seen from using this product are amazing! After one use I noticed immediate radiance – my skin is glowing! It has also calmed my stressed out skin and really helped calm down my acne. My skin is looking a lot clearer, more radiant and just overall healthy and thriving since I have been using this.
Neostrata Triple Firming Neck Cream – Our neck is often and area we neglect and is one of the first places we show signs of aging. With the increase in technology people are often noticing signs of aging on the neck really early and it is referred to as “Tech Neck”.
Tech neck is the horizontal lines that develop on the neck as a result of constantly looking down at devices like phones or computers. This is something I have definitely started to develop and I want to start caring for now and taking preventative measures.
This neck cream helps to firm, reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles and even the skin tone. It is really effective at doing all of those things and I have definitely noticed more smoothness in my neck area and a reduction in the appearance of lines on my neck. The thing I love most about this neck cream is the texture. A lot of other neck creams I have tried can be very oily, or feel like they just sit on the surface of the skin and don’t fully absorb. This one is super light in texture and absorbs into the skin beautifully.
Do I recommend this neck cream? Absolutely, but I also understand that spending $98 on a neck cream isn’t realistic for everyone. If I can offer one piece of advice it would be to carry your skincare down your neck. Bring everything down – cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen.
Cover Girl Clean Fresh Translucent Pressed Powder– I have never used a pressed translucent powder as I usually opt for loose. I am so impressed with this powder and it is drugstore. It does a really great job at setting your makeup and blurring the skin. I mainly use it under my eyes and through my t-zone. It does a great job at leaving a natural matte finish and blurring any lines or pores. I have seen other reviews where people said they felt like it left a white cast on their skin. I personally have never experienced this, but I am a pretty fair skin tone. I also think this will be great for travelling or on the go instead of bringing my loose translucent powders with me as they can be quite messy.
Fekkai Color Technician Shampoo and Conditioner – I’ve been searching for a shampoo and conditioner that is easily accessible (can be purchased at the drugstore rather then the salon) and doesn’t contain things like silicones or sulfates. Fekkai recently relaunched their products at the drugstore and I am really excited about it. I have been using their shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair. It is supposed to extend the life of your colour and prevent brassiness from occuring. It is free of silicones, sulfates, phthalates and parabens. It has definitely helped my hair with brassiness. I find I am using my purple shampoo less often to maintain my blonde. It also leaves my hair feeling really clean and doesn’t add any weight to my hair.
Those are a few of my favourite products from October. What products have you been loving?
I have another collection of empty products I have used up. Spoiler alert: I really liked them all! As I said in my last post about product empties, I love sharing thoughts after using a product up entirely. You really get a true impression of how you like a product when using up the entire thing. Some of the products I am sharing today are tried and true products in my routine that I have repurchased over and over. Others are new to me, but I would not hesitate to repurchase them again. Interested to see what these winning products are? Just keep reading!
La Roche Posay Ultra Micellar Water Sensitive – This is one of my favourite micellar waters. It is super gentle, but still effective. It gets all my makeup off in one sweep. It doesn’t feel drying, leave any residue on the skin or irritate my eyes. It leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed. They also make a few other versions for different skin types – reactive, sensitive and acne prone. This is something I will probably repurchase once I finish up the other micellar waters I have on hand.
La Roche Posay Toleriance Ultra – I have recommended this products for years – it is great! If you are someone with really sensitive skin, experiencing any kind of skin irritation, or just want minimal ingredients in your moisturizer definitely check this out. This product is free of fragrance, alcohol, lanolin, parabens and preservatives. It comes in air tight packaging which allows the product to stay sterile and safe for the most sensitive skin. This product has really helped me to combat any irritation I have been experiencing from wearing a mask. I will definitely repurchase this product.
Bioderma Atoderm Gentle Shower Gel – I never realized the difference between drugstore and dermo-cosmetic body wash products until I made the switch for myself. I knew the technology and ingredient differences, but I had never experienced the difference myself. Prior to now, I would buy whatever was on sale and smelled pretty. But, since using dermo-cosmetic body washes I don’t think I can go back. The biggest difference I notice is the hydration and comfort I feel in my skin. My skin always feels hydrated and nourished. There is also little fragrance in these products and, if there is, they are hypoallergenic. I appreciate this because it really isn’t ideal to be using fragrance on more delicate areas of the body.
This body wash is hypoallergenic, soap free, allergen free, paraben free and respects the skin’s balance. It is safe for the whole family. It does have a light scent. The blue colour is natural colouring and it does not have any added colourant. Overall, I would repurchase this product. I liked how it made my skin feel and how it lathered.
Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil– This product is another body wash product from Bioderma. It is different from the last one in the way that it is for atopic (eczema prone) skin. It provides immediate soothing effects, hydration and protects the skin. It is rich with lipids (good fatty acids for the skin), prevents bad bacteria from binding to the skin and can increase the tolerance of sensitive skin. I actually love using this product as a bubble bath or to shave my legs. It created a really nice foam in the bath and leaves your skin feeling so hydrated and smooth after shaving. I think this will be a great product to use in the winter time to help with the dry skin that comes along with the colder temperatures. I also like using this as a hand wash when my hands become irritated from hand sanitizer or frequent hand washing. I can’t say enough good things about this product.
Avene Thermal Spring Water – This product has been a staple in my routine for years now. I don’t know if I have ever talked about it on my blog (and I am too lazy to go back and look). This is a thermal water rich in minerals with a low mineral salt content. It is known in my household as magic water because you can use it for just about anything. I use it as part of my skincare routine, on skin irritations, to refresh throughout the day, to soothe irritated eyes from contact lenses… literally anything. Avene’s thermal water is unique because it is rich in silica, which helps to soften the skin. This product has so many amazing soothing benefits. I have already restocked and have one for back up. This is something I can’t live without.
Vichy Mineral 89 – Since this product launched a few years ago it has been a staple in my routine. I always have multiple bottles on hand, so I am never without. I like to describe this product as a multi-vitamin for your skin. It is 89% Vichy Thermal Water which is packed with 15 different minerals to help strengthen and protect your skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin. You can use this product on face, eyes and lips. It has no fragrance, alcohol or parabens. If I could shower my whole body in Mineral 89 I would.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray – This product is a well known product in the makeup community and there is definitely a reason for it. This is at least my third bottle I have gone through. It really does help your makeup last all day… or night. It keeps your makeup looking fresh, helps prevent transfer and blends all your products together flawlessly.
My favourite way to use it is by doing what I call a setting spray sandwich. After applying my skincare I do one layer of setting spray then apply all of my makeup, except mascara. I then apply another layer of setting spray and finish off with my mascara. I like to apply setting spray before my mascara because sometimes the spray can weigh down my lashes and they don’t look as lifted or curled. By doing two layers of setting spray I find the first layer helps your makeup adhere to your skin better and the second layer locks in your products.
Annabelle Brow Fibre Gel – This is one of my all-time favourite brow gels and it has been discontinued. It is such a good dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow. It has an identical brush and formula. It is a tinted brow gel with small fibers to tint, shape and fill in your brows. The formula is amazing, but the other thing I loved the most about this is the colour. The shade I wear is light/medium. It is the perfect shade. I find a lot of brow gels can be really warm in the lighter shades, but this is light and cool toned. Annabelle please bring this back.
Klorane Dry Shampoo With Nettle – This is my go-to dry shampoo. I have repurchased this so many times. I like this dry shampoo because it leaves your hair feeling clean and brushable. It doesn’t leave your hair feeling stiff, or like there is a lot of product in your hair after using it. My favourite way to use it is to apply it the night before and then brush it out in the morning. It also doesn’t have a very strong smell, it is just a soft clean scent that doesn’t linger. I’ve already repurchased this.
Those are the latest products I have used up lately and without a doubt will be repurchasing. I love doing these kind of posts because they really help me to stay on track with finishing products and I love being able to give a full review versus more of a first impression. Have you finished up any beauty products lately? Let me know in a comment below!
Happy October! With another month come and gone I have a round up of some of my favourite products. This month I have a lot of products from La Roche Posay. To say that La Roche Posay has saved my skin over the last month or two is an understatement. I know I keep bringing up maskne and the breakouts I have been having with my skin a lot, but it has been a struggle. About mid-August the breakouts I have been having from my mask got out of control. It was at a point where I was grateful to be able to hide them under a mask. I was battling both irritation from the mask along with blemishes. I have sensitive as well as combination to dry skin, so this duo can be tricky to treat as most acne treatments are geared towards oily skin and can be very harsh. If you are having the same struggles as me, or have a similar skin type as me, check out my favourites below.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Dermallegro– Before I started treating my acne I needed to address the irritation I was experiencing. La Roche Posay recently launched Dermallegro serum to help skin in distress – whether that be from irritation, allergies or you just have very sensitive skin. It has a very minimal formula soothes irriation, redness and itchiness upon contact to the skin. I can definitley attest to this claim. Prior to starting this serum my skin felt tight, itchy and red. Immediately after applying it I felt relief for all of those sensations. This product has really helped restore my skin’s barrier and control any irritation my mask was causing. I have already finished a full bottle and am on my second. I can’t recommend this product enough for helping with any kind of skin discomfort.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Clarifying Foaming Gel– This cleanser is a lot different then most acne cleansers. Most acne cleansers are salicylic acid based, or benzoyl peroxide based. Effaclar Foaming Gel uses zinc pca. For me, this is great for my skin type. It helps to moderate oil production on the skin and prevent the growth of acne causing bacteria – both things I need to help my maskne. The other important thing that zinc pca does is that its a natural mosturizing factor meaning it helps the skin to stay hydrated. This product helps to control my acne and keep my skin from drying out. What more could I need? Since using it I definitely have noticed a change in my skin. I am not 100% breakout free, but there has for sure been an improvement.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + – This is the acne treatment I have been using after cleansing with the Effaclar Foaming Gel and prepping my skin with the Dermallegro Serum. I chose this treatment because it has a low amount of salicylic acid and also has zinc pca in it. It also has niacinimide to help with redness and pigmentation on the skin. It is a global acne treatment meaning it treats current breakouts and prevents them from reoccurring. I like this product because it is so gentle, but still effective. It hasn’t dried out or irritated my skin at all. Like with the cleanser my breakouts aren’t entirely cleared up, but they are on the mend. It is important to keep in mind that treating acne takes time and a consistent routine. That can sometimes be discouraging as we all want results yesterday. One way I have been keeping myself motivated to stick with it is by taking regular photos of my skin so I visually see the progress that is happening.
Dermablend Cover Care Concealer – I think this might be the best concealer I have ever used. Is that a big claim? Maybe, but I like it a lot. The coverage is incredible. It has 30% pigment, twice the amount of typical full coverage concealers. It is super long wearing and does not require setting. I can put it under my eyes and it stays in place all day without creasing or smudging. I have never owned a concealer before now that I could wear without setting. It is also hydrating, but I do recommend a good hydrating eye cream and moisturizer prior to applying it. It looks much better when applied to hydrated skin. It is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, non-comedogic, tested on allergy and acne-prone skin. It is one of the safest and best concealers I have ever used.
Bioderma Hydrobio H2O Micellar Water – Bioderma created micellar water technology, so I feel like I don’t even have to say that their micellar waters are some of the best on the market. I have always been a big fan of Bioderma micellar water and I always purchase the Sensibio version for sensitive skin. I have to say I am really impressed with the Hydrabio, the hydrating version, I have been using this month. It effectively removes all my makeup easily and really leaves my skin soothed and hydrated. This has been great for my skin in conjunction with the difference acne treatments I have been trying. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.
Those are the products I have fallen in love with during September. Did you try anything new this month? Let me know in a comment below!
Does it feel like 2020 is flying by, or is it just me? How are we already in the month of September? With a new month well underway it means I can take a moment to reflect on some products I have had in rotation over the last month and share with you what I have been loving. Wearing a mask has become a big part of my day to day routine, so I am using a lot more skincare. When it comes to makeup I am really just sticking to eye products and brow products. Based on my new routine here is a look at what I have been really enjoying for the month of August.
Pacifica Pore Warrior Booster Serum – Pacifica is now available in Canada – wahoo! I’ve been seeing so many people talking about Pacifica skincare that I had to try something from the range. I chose this serum because it is meant help control oil and blemishes on the skin while maintaining the skin’s barrier. It contains niacinamide to help regulate oil, improve appearance of pores, even skin tone and support skin barrier. If you have been watching TikTok everyone has been raving about the benefits of niacinamide. It also has a triple berry complex to help with oil production and blemishes. I really love the texture of this serum. It is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin. I have noticed this serum does a good job at helping to control oil on my skin.
Marcelle Xtension Plus Pro Lash Growth Complex Mascara – I recently saw someone with the most beautiful eye lashes I have ever seen. I had to ask them what mascara they were wearing and turns out it was this one from Marcelle. Marcelle makes amazing mascara for anyone with sensitive eyes. All of their products are hypoallergenic and they have a huge range of mascaras.
This one, in particular, is a plastic wand with short bristles on one side and longer bristles on the other side. This is great because it can build both volume and length with the lashes. The real reason I love this mascara is because of the growth complex that it has to help your lashes grow. I definitely have noticed that my lashes look longer since wearing this mascara. I think this is a great affordable option for anyone looking for a lash growth treatment.
Lise Watier Soothing Rose Petal Gel Toner – This is my first time trying a gel toner. A gel toner is applied differently then a regular toner. When applying a gel toner you place a few drops into the palm of your hands and pat it into the skin. I like this because there is way less waste then using a cotton pad with a traditional toner. This one from Lise Watier has rose petals suspended in it. It is hydrating and soothing and leaves my skin so soft. My makeup applies so well after using this.
T3 Curling Iron – This was definitely a treat yourself moment when I ordered this. I had been saving my PC Optimum points for a while and decided to redeem them for a new curling iron. I love how this curls my hair. The clamp is really tight, so it smooths my hair at the same time. I comes with a small, medium and large barrel. I usually use the medium size to create soft loose waves. This is definitely an expensive item and I don’t think it is something I need or that I could have justified paying full price for, but I do love it.
Vichy Dercos Kera-Solutions Repairing Leave-In Serum – I purchased this serum in hopes of taming the ends of my hair. I felt like the ends of my hair a have looked a little dry and unruly even though I have recently had a haircut. This serum repairs damage linked to keratin loss, hydrates and protects the hair from heat. I think this serum is beautiful. It is a light creamy texture that I find has really helped to smooth and hydrate the ends of my hair.
Those are some of my August favourites. What did you love this month?
Over the last couple of months I have discovered some really great summer and skincare favourites. I have been spending a lot time outdoors and wearing a mask, which has really changed up what products I’m using. I have been wearing a lot less make up and really leaning in to skincare. If you’d like to know some new products I have been loving just keep reading!
Lise Watier Deep Cleansing Oil – This cleansing oil is amazing. I regret not trying it sooner. It is so great for breaking down sunscreen and pulling impurities from the skin. I have been following LA Beautyologists oil cleansing routine and have been seeing a lot of impurities being pulled from my skin. Not only have I found her method incredibly effective, but the facial massage component feels so good.
I love this oil cleanser because it doesn’t break me out and it leaves my skin feeling really hydrated and soft. I also find my skin can feel really oily and congested after wearing a mask. This oil cleanser does a great job at leaving my skin feeling clean and nourishing my skin.
Avene Cicalfate Hand Cream – I have never washed my hands, or used as much hand sanitizer, as I have in the past few months. As a result, my hands have been so dry and I started experiencing eczema. So many people who swear by this hand cream and I was desperate to try anything. Withing 24 hours of using this cream I noticed a significant difference in the dryness and irritation on my hands. I applied this cream as needed throughout the first 24 hours. Since then, I have been using it on an as needed basis. See the photos below for the difference within 24 hours of using the cream. This is the best hand cream I have ever tried.
Nexcare Acne Covers – Where were these when I was a teenager? This is one of the best spot treatment products I have ever used. Best part? They are around ten dollars and are from the drugstore. They work like a sponge to pull out the oil and puss from the breakout. You can wear them at night while you sleep. Sometimes it can take a couple of nights to clear up the blemish completely.
My favourite way to wear these is under my mask. I have to wear a mask for eight hours a day at work. I have been experiencing some serious maskne because of this. To help combat the spread of the acne bacteria, and to prevent more breakouts caused by my mask rubbing I wear the patches underneath my mask. Doing this has greatly reduced the inflammation and helps clear up the blemishes faster. Never did I think I would be wearing pimple patches out in public, but 2020 is a strange time.
Vichy Mineral Tinted Sunscreen – Stepping away from makeup has given me a whole new appreciation for tinted sunscreen. Tinted sunscreen, in general, has really helped me feel more confident day to day when not wearing makeup – especially with maskne. The tint is really light and gives just enough coverage to reduce any redness from a blemish, but still leaves my skin looking like skin. You can still see blemishes – it just helps them to be less red and noticeable.
I also really like this sunscreen because it is mineral. With my skin having more blemishes lately a mineral sunscreen is a better alternative as it is more gentle on the skin and less likely to cause breakouts. I also this it acts as a good barrier between my skin and my mask.
This sunscreen doesn’t leave any kind of white cast and doesn’t feel sticky. I find it adds a bit of a dewy or glowy finish on the skin. It is also water and sweat resistant, fragrance free and non-comedogenic.
Neostrata Dual Acid Clarifying Peel – This has been a favourite for a while whenever I have a breakout, or need a really good exfoliation. It uses a 10% AHA and 10% PHA to exfoliate the skin. It helps to minimize the appearance of pores, treat break outs and reduce acne scarring. I love this product because it is effective and provides instant gratification. It takes 15-20 minutes and I always notice a difference in the clarity, brightness and texture of my skin.
Those are some of the products I have been loving over the last couple of months. What have you been loving lately? Have you changed up the kind of products you use in your routine?
Spending more time at home over the last few months has me shopping my stash a lot more lately and I have lots of products I have finished up. I thought I would share some of the products I have used up lately and how I liked them. Using a product up entirely gives you a much different perspective then just using it for a week or two and then reviewing it. Here are some of the products I’ve used up:
La Roche Posay Hyalu B5 Anti-Wrinkle Plumping Serum – This product is something I would definitely repurchase – I loved it. I gifted an extra one I had on hand to a friend and I regret gifting it a little bit because I loved it so much. This serum is gentle, hydrating and plumping. It has hyaluronic acid which hydrates and plumps the skin. B5 stimulates the skin’s healing process and is really hydrating and nourishing. One of my favorite ways to use this serum was to pair it with a product with a more active or irritating ingredient – like retinol. The B5 really helped to soothe and minimize any irritation that could come with using the active. The combination was a dream team. Anyone with dry skin, or looking for a lot of nourishment, plumpness and radiance for the skin should try this product. The only thing I will say is that I didn’t love the scent of this product, but it doesn’t linger long on the skin. When using this product a little bit goes a long way. If you use too much it will roll off the skin and feel really sticky.
Jouviance 3-D Action Boost First Wrinkle Anti Aging Cream – This is another product I would repurchase. I started initially using it just as a night cream, but during the colder months integrated it into my morning routine as well. It is a rich texture, so I was worried it wouldn’t sit well under makeup, but it was fantastic. It was an amazing makeup base that left my skin looking really dewy and hydrated. This product smooths, hydrates and protects the skin – I definitely noticed these benefits. It has Tightenyl, which is an ingredient derived from plants that works like a retinol without the irritation typically associated with retinol. This product would be amazing for anyone who is sensitive and unable to use retinol because Tightenyl is anti-inflammatory. I also think this is a great alternative to retinol while we are wearing masks because it is really soothing, This product is naturally fragranced and I really enjoyed the scent.
Neostrata Glycolic Mousse Cleanser – This is my second bottle I have used up of this cleanser, so it is safe to say I am a fan. If you have been following me on instagram lately you know I have been loving Neostrata products. This cleanser pumps out in a light foamy texture. It has glycolic acid and bionic acid to provide a chemical exfoliation on the skin. I find this cleanser can be a little bit drying for me when the weather is colder and my skin is more on the dry side, so I follow up with a good moisturizer – the Hyalu B5 Serum from La Roche Posay was great to compensate for the dryness. Even though it can be drying I continued using this product because it helps with blemishes. I recently have started to experience more acne. This is something that I have never dealt with before, but with daily use of this cleanser it has really helped to keep pesky breakouts away. After I finished this cleanser I started to break out again. Once I added it back into my routine everything settled down again, so this will definitely be a staple in my routine. I also want to note this product can seem a little pricey retailing at $35. Keep in mind it does have two active ingredients, and a little bit goes a long way. I only need to use half a pump of product.
Bioderma Sensibio Eye Contour Gel– This eye cream from Bioderma is a light gel cream texture that is really hydrating and soothing. It wears great under makeup and leaves the eyes feeling really hydrated and soothed. I loved the texture of it. It is really light and absorbs very quickly. This is a great eye cream, but I don’t think I would repurchase it. I need something that works to help brighten dark under eye circles and this eye cream doesn’t work to target that concern. If you are someone who is really sensitive and needs something really hydrating and soothing I would definitely recommend. It is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, safe for contact lens wearers and paraben free.
A-Derma Emollient Foaming Gel – I love using body washes (like this one) that are geared for atopic, or dry sensitive skin. I find they are really gentle and also so hydrating and nourishing on the skin. I am really lazy when it comes to things like applying body lotion, so any added benefit I can get from my body wash is great. This one is fragrance free, soothes, protects, relieves itching sensations linked to dry skin. I find that when I use more gentle body washes it also helps sunless tanning products last so much longer on the skin and fade more naturally. They don’t become all patchy they just slowly fade and you don’t notice it as much. This product is fragrance free, so it does have a bit of a smell. I would definitely repurchase this body wash. I think it is a great product and loved how it made my skin feel.
Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Cleansing Wipes – I have use up many packages of these makeup wipes from Vichy – they are my favourite wipes. I don’t use makeup wipes daily to remove my makeup, but I have them on hand for lazy days, or to clean up a mistake during makeup application. These makeup wipes are super gentle. They are not too abrasive and they don’t irritate my skin. They are free of fragrance, alcohol and parabens. They are allergy tested and safe for sensitive skin. I also find that they do a good job at removing makeup without leaving and residue or any oily feeling behind. You can also find them in a two for the price of one package, so I consider them to be pretty affordable.
Lise Watier Perfection Fiber Eyebrow Pencil – This eyebrow pencil lasted such a long time and I was really happy about it. I was using a drugstore brow pencil prior to this one and I would run out in 3-4 weeks. This brow pencil easily lasted me 6 months. The initial purchase price is obviously more, but when I look at how often I had to repurchase other brow pencils in the past the Lise Watier pencil ends up being more cost effective. I wear the shade Chatain and it is the perfect shade for me. This product has little fibers to add volume to the brow. Personally, I don’t really notice the fibers or any added volume. This product is pigmented, creamy and looks really natural. It is also waterproof and I find it wears well and is long lasting. I have already repurchased this product because I enjoyed it so much.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil – This eyeliner was great. It is a super creamy formula, my favourite, which glided onto the skin very easily. I loved the Bronzed Beam colour as it was a really warm brown that worked really great with blue eyes. I always prefer a brown eyeliner as it looks really soft on the eye. This pencil claims to be waterproof and smudge proof, however I found if I was touching my eyes it did move around. For me this isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, but if you are someone looking for a waterproof pencil this one may not be ideal. I am not overly loyal when it comes to eyeliner pencils, so I haven’t repurchased it as I wanted to try something new.
Benefit Hoola Lite Matte Bronzer – We all know Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer, but did you know that they offer other shades? Hoola Lite is the lightest shade in the collection and it is a perfect contour colour for me. I also like using it in the winter months as a more subtle way to add warmth to the skin. If you are fair in complexion this will be your best friend.
Klorane Shampoo With Mango Butter – This shampoo is one of my favourites. It is a great hydrating shampoo that does not weigh down your hair or leave it feeling heavy or greasy. It still leaves my hair with lots of volume. It nourishes the hair and smells amazing. I have repurchased it many times and will probably repurchase it again.
Those are some of the products I have used up lately. Have you been using up more products from your stash with all this time spent at home? I would love to hear what you’ve used up lately! Let me know in a comment below.
